How to understand subconscious body language

Know what a person thinks and feels by examining their subconscious body language. It is a great skill to understand a person’s body language.

  • See how close a person is standing or sitting while talking to you. The closer the warmer will be their opinions for you. The more farther, the less they care for you.
  • Over tilted head is a sign of sympathy, or a person is trying to prove his honesty.
  • Lowering their head is a sign of hiding something or telling some lies.
  • Liars generally look at you as many times as they look here and there, some liars may maintain constant eye contact with you.
  • If a person rests his arms behind his neck, he is more interested in listening in what you are saying.
  • If their hands are in pockets, they are more relaxed and attracted to you.
  • A fast tapping or movement of foot means that the person is nervous.
  • Slowly drifting the weight means that the person is not interested and feels bored.
  • A person looking to his sides means he feels guilty.
  • A confident person makes prolonged eye contact and has a good posture.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 10:31 am

New passenger cars are to get updated with more fuel efficiency; thanks to the decision taken by Obama government. The new standards are to hit the passenger cars after more than two decades.

Standards of passenger cars (27.5 miles per gallon) are as old as 1985.

According to the new standards raised by the administrations, automakers have to boost the fuel efficiency of the vehicles they manufacture by 2 miles per gallon. Thus, new passenger cars have to provide at least an efficiency of 30.2 miles per gallon. This is a 40 percent increase over the earlier standards. New standards are for pickup trucks and sports utility vehicles too. Thus, they will have to boost their efficiency to 24.1 miles per gallon.

New standards are for models to be manufactured in the year 2011. Obama said that he would like the revisions on the standards to be made every year by minimum 4 percent annually.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 12:25 pm

Choosing a blog hosting service is a crucial decision for the success of the blog. It is essential for the blogger to choose a right platform for blogging based on his requirements. Each blogging service has its own uniqueness. However, it is only when they are chosen properly, that they can be used efficiently.

Choosing a right blogging service
There are two choices for people looking for a suitable blogging service. One of them is self-hosted blogging service. The other one is free-hosted blogging service. The main advantage of self-hosted blogging service over free-hosted blogging service is that it enables blogger to select domain name. Here are some additional details of each platform to help in selecting the right blogging service.

- Self-hosted Blog Platform: This platform is suitable for the bloggers who are willing to create a professional or commercial blog. This facilitates the blogger to choose a genuine domain name and build their blog on it. Besides a selective domain name, self-hosted blogging enables the blogger to have full control over the design and appearance of the blog. Other advantages of self-hosted blogging platform are free plug-ins that makes the environment of blogging, more flexible. The current popular self-hosted blogging services are Movable Type, Serendipity, and WordPress.org. Self-hosted blog platforms are rather complicated and require high technical knowledge to host blogs from them.

- Free-hosted Blog Platform: The free-hosted blogging service enables the blogger to host his blog free of cost. Thus, the blogger can concentrate on his posts and content, rather than, on bandwidth and storage. Creating and publishing a blog in free-hosted blog platform is easy and less time consuming. Also, blogs from free-hosted service are easily picked up and indexed in search engines quickly compared to self-hosted blogs. Most popular services are Blogger.com, WordPress.com, MSN Spaces, and TypePad (Paid and hosted). Free-hosted blog platforms give less or moderate control over the blogs and often cannot acquire higher page ranks when compared to self-hosted blogs.

The blogger needs to have a clear understanding about his purpose and goals of blogging, in order to choose a right blogging service. It is essential for him to clearly understand the pros and cons of blogging services before choosing either of the two.

Rent-regulation Revisions: Good for Whom?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 3:39 pm

The Democratic government of New York is into revising the rent-regulation laws of the state. This plan has made many restrictions to the landowners and apartment owners. So, it is obvious that the new revised rent-regulations are good for tenants of New York and not for the owners.

Here, I don’t pity the owners. It is because of their greediness that the legislation had to consider revising the existing regulations. In New York City, there are an estimated one million rent regulated apartments. Owners have flocked to convert many of their units into market-rate apartments to increase their revenues. The situation has changes in such a way that people of middle class families were finding it hard to afford to the peaking rents.

According to the present revised regulations, the landowner can increase only 10 percent of the rent before it gets vacant. It was 20 percent earlier. The power of the owner to force tenant to vacant the place for personal uses, will also be limited. If some owner is convicted on harassing a tenant, he will have to pay more fine. And so on…

Why Should You Resist Seafood?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 8:58 am

Though people say that sea food is rich in providing abundant vitamins for daily diet, there are many risks associated to health because of intake of sea food.

You know where they dump all those trash of industries and nuclear reactors, these days. Living things inside those huge water bodies die or adopt themselves to the polluted environment. Thus all those fish and living organisms in the water bodies where you get your sea food are as poisonous as the pollutants dumped inside them. The dumping doesn’t decline its effects along with time. Thus the possibilities of finding poisonous fish are equally high even though the dumping happened many decades ago.

Almost all of the seafood contains methyl mercury, which are harmful to the consumers. Seaborne diseases and infections are increasing every year with the mutation of the bacterium inside the water bodies that effect sea animals that you consume as sea food.

Clinton Summit Says Global Warming Is Surging

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 12:24 pm

The former President of US, Bill Clinton, expected companies to arrive in a generous mood for his fourth annual philanthropic summit, in spite of their suffering by Recession and financial crisis. He says that crisis is not an excuse to walk away from world’s challenges but a compelling reason to intensify efforts to meet them around the corner and around the world. The main agenda for the summit is to fight Global warning, reducing poverty and empowering economic empowerment in poor countries and in some communities of America.

Some highlights of the summit are

  • They find it extraordinary that they can spend as much as $700 billion on crisis but can’t find $25 billion to save the 25,000 children who die from preventable diseases and hunger.
  • Young people have been urged to engage in “civil disobedience” to stop the creation and expansion of coal energy locally and abroad.
  • The financial crisis of US might help in putting philanthropists and organizations together more significant over the next couple of years.
  • There was a surprise appearance by George Bush who urged Americans to donate to those in the Gulf suffering from sudden displacement.

Lets wait for the outcomes of the summit.

Most Thrilling Wimbledon Final

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gary @ 12:36 pm

Actually I am very much interested in tennis and the last Sunday I watched the Wimbledon singles men’s final match between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. My favorite is Roger Federer, not only myself most of the tennis lovers expect this time Wimbledon winner is because he is the king of the king of the clay court but history was not repeated. Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer battled for nearly five hours, braving the conditions and each other, before the Spaniard finally ended the Swiss’s reign at the All England Club. John McEnroe, a three-time Wimbledon champ, proclaimed it was the best tennis tussle he had ever seen. And finally Nadal wins 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-7 (8), 9-7. But actually both win the audience appreciation.

Before we talk about the actual tennis, let’s throw some intangibles in there. The match began 20 minutes late due to rain and two more interruptions ensued one arguably helping Federer and the other favoring Nadal. Had they been on court much longer, surely bad light would have sent a third interruption for Monday. In any case, at 4 hours, 48 minutes, it turned out to be the longest men’s singles final in Wimbledon history. The two gladiators delivered a combined 149 winners, almost double the unforced error tally, and Federer served huge when he needed to, especially in the third and fourth sets, and early in the fifth. Nadal, though, proved how tough he is mentally. Blowing two match points in the fourth-set tiebreaker surely would have sent others downhill, but the Spaniard persevered and was impregnable on his own serve in the fifth, facing just one break point. Finally Nadal ended Federer’s five-year hold on the trophy and his 65-match winning streak on grass. He probably silenced detractors, too, finally claiming a major on a surface other than clay. Lastly “Probably later on in life, I’ll go, ‘That was a great match,’ ” Federer said. Yes e would be right.
